Hi all. I have reorganized the menu system on the site to better reflect where the site is going. Lots of broken links in the Iron John “Bones” menu.

Originally the site was about storytelling and stories, now it is about that and the implications of those stories for us in this time. And our journey from “Frogs to Princes”

And of course, it’s Christmas in the Christian calendar.  From a story point of view, I see this differently. When unpacking these stories I always say these are our stories from eternity. Eternity being outside of time allowing the stories to always be relevant to us the readers or listeners. So to if we apply the same idea to the Christmas story, unhinge the story from history, and allow it to speak to us in our time what would it say?

Well, firstly it’s about celebrating a birth. What do we do at the birth of a child? We send best wishes to the parents, we send cards of congratulations, we send gifts. We also go through certain rituals depending on where we are. We chose Godparents like spiritual Grandparents to watch over the child’s spiritual life.

At Christmas time we do exactly the same things except we wish each other. Why do we do that?  I’m suggesting somewhere deep in our subconscious and unconscious there is an understanding of the possibility of Christ consciousness being borne within each of us and we celebrate the possibility each year.
