There are many reasons why I have created this site. Like the Blue Beard story, I have used the key and opened the door into the room of shadows and death for the Ego. Not to kill Ego but to transform it. And to acknowledge the life-changing phases in growing to human maturity. Allowing Ego to have an ongoing conversation with Soul. With Poetry and Story I have created my own secret garden of the heart.

The story simply states that Jack lived with his widowed mother and that they were very poor. A very modern description of our world, a prophetic story in many ways. Prophetic because these stories spring from the eternal and are therefore forever relevant … and a very accurate description of single-parent families today, of mothers and their struggle in the land of giants, their battle to make ends meet.
